The Carney looked psyched today, as the summer season heats up. The season of parties and road trips - so many drunk drivers to deliver, swimmers to sink, inebriates to extract, skydivers to skim and so on. He'll be busy and loving it. Unlike me, who prefers it when things are slow at my office, the angel of death is no sloucher.

This is one of my major complaints with the universe at large: it's hard to find people who have a good work ethic, and when you do find them they are working hard at something that you would rather they didn't.
