Today on my drive into work, I was thinking about writer's block.

God, I hate writer's block.

Most of us, when faced with unrequited love, get bored and leave. But not Writer's Block. Oh, no, Writer's Block sticks around, getting in your face and keeping your from getting anything done.

Any way I can get a restraining order against it?

I've never heard of a successful legal injunction against Writer's Block, but have heard that 2 pills and a pint will put it out of commission... of course, there are side-effects, but we won't go into that just yet.

The problem is, while I can write very enthusiastically when I'm drunk, it's not really anything that anyone would want to read.

That's sometimes the case, but it kicks the block... then you're back on track. At least that's the theory!
