I could post pictures of the animals I saw, but mostly I only took shots on one particular smallish primate (my favorite one).
In additional to the real animals that you aren't allowed to touch, the zoo is full of fake animals that you can photograph your kids with. I think this is a good idea, as it keeps people from trying to pose their tots with creatures that can eat them.

Real eagle, fake backdrop. This exhibit in the Children's section of the zoo is sponsored by Silver Eagle Distributing, the company that distributes Budweiser Beer. Why? Because today's kids are tomorrow's drunks, that's why.

My baby eagle:

Sweet Pea in the Prairie Dog Viewer:

What he was viewing from in there:

The tunnel he went through to get to the prairie dogs:

Miniature armadillo lighting on his head:

This is one of two bronze statues that together allow a kid to see what it looks like inside of a beaver's home. In the other statue, there is a beaver sleeping. Sweet Pea decided to sleep in this one.

Sweet Pea in front of the painted beach backdrop:

Bat Man Ice Cream gives kids blue lips and makes them look like pint-sized Goths. There were signs inside the zoo asking people please not to feed the primates, but this one kept begging so I gave in.

What the sky looked like as Sweet Pea at his ice cream and I scanned the parking lot for my car.

That's all.
