I agree 100%. When I first started working where I am now, I knew right away that the girl in accounting was a strict Christian. When I just happened to ask if she was taking her daughter trick-or-treating, she said she was, but didn't want to. She didn't like what it stood for. Um, ok, I couldn't resist and asked her what she thought it stood for. I must have talked to her for 30 mins about our various religious beliefs. Anyways, it wasn't a bad conversation, and I can be openly Pagan at work, and she can be openly Chrisitian, and we can still get along. It's all good. I love Halloween and yes I'm Pagan. But I've loved it way before I knew what it was really about. Despite it meaning more to me that just the trick-or-treating, that is my favorite part.
