Today on the drive into work, I was giving thanks that for the first time in 3 days, I didn't feel like throwing up. Or rather, I only felt like throwing up a little bit but not so much that I couldn't drag myself into work. Hurray for progress.
As I drove past the Carney today he gave a sympathetic wave and a nod. I don't suppose that he ever gets sick himself, but he seems to understand that it's not any fun. He must talk to a lot of people who were recently very, very sick, which would give him a good insight.
It was raining on my car sitting at the red light, but not on the Ferris Wheel. It never rains on the spot where I see the Ferris Wheel. The ground is always dry and dusty and hard packed by the feet of the people exiting the ride. They don't enter the ride at this place, though, or at least not that I've seen. It makes me wonder about how and where everyone gets on this ride, and why my viewpoint is always of those exiting.
I have some ideas, but I won't go into them now.
