Thursday - Never been kissed
Jul. 21st, 2005 05:09 pmToday on the drive into work, I stopped at The Stoplight and glanced over at the Ferris Wheel. Very weird. It seemed to be surround by Star Trek fans, and they were wailing and making a ruckus. Some of them even had their fake pointy ears on and everything. When I see these people, I always think of the old Saturday Night Live skit with William Shatner at a Star Trek Convention, shouting at the crowd, "GET A LIFE! IT WAS JUST A TV SHOW! You, over there, you've even never kissed an actual girl, have you?"
So I shouted this as I drove by. Apparently, they could hear me, even in that other dimension, because they looked up, shocked, as I drove off.
I wonder what will happen when they expand the State Highway and pave over the spot where space and time unravel? I'm not sure if I would want to drive through it. I think I'll stick to the outside lanes when the time comes.
