My 6 year old has been begging and hounding me to get her a guitar and lessons. She has been quite insistent for some time, enough so that I am seriously contemplating getting her one, and I know enough of the very simplest of basics to get her started learning on it. I have already acquired a child sized guitar and am getting ready to restring and tune it for her to get started on. I am refraining from starting her with 'official' lessons until we get to Okinawa, because I don't want to get her started and then have to up and change teachers right at the onset.
So, yay for musically inclined and motivated young'uns!
Oh, and my little girl is really stoked that she greatly resembles Taylor Swift. She can already sing along to her songs on the radio, and I can already tell that one of her first songs she learns on her own will be a Taylor Swift one. :P
