I read this and I think of one of those people whose (or is it who's....I never know, I didn't study writing) job it is to craft nice reassuring messages when a politician gets caught cheating on his wife or a company gets caught dumping toxic waste into the lake behind an elementary school. It's not so much what the words say, but that they convey a feeling that the person saying them is really hopeful that you'll forgive them. I say all this to say that maybe you have a future in public relations.
