Wednesday - All's well - For Now

Driving in this morning, I barely paused at The Stop Light. The ferris wheel that no sees but me was spilling its slow spin, and all was well in the world.

It should be a relief, but it makes me nervous. Good times never last; they just serve as bookends for the bad times.

85 years - at least he got his money's worth. And he had Alzheimer's, to boot, so it was his time. Did you know he was Canadian (like the bacon) and not Scotch born? Can you imagine if he'd used his own accent, instead? "She can't take no more, ay, Jim?!"
