Monday - Duck Follow Up

In case anyone is wondering about the end results of the Duck hi-jinx I reported some weeks back, here they are:



These are not the Mallards, but the much kinder (and uglier) Muscovy ducks. They are tying up traffic in my neighborhood, because every car that passes by them must stop and take a gander.*

*The ganders have nothing to do with any of this, of course. This is strictly duck business.

She's quacking at the screen as I type. (Gotta love 4 year olds...)

And she asked me if you took this in Vegas. I said No. "Canada?" No, sweetie, TEXAS... I don't think she even knows what Canada is. *giggles*

She does because when we were in Vegas a few weeks ago, we went to the bird sanctuary at the Flamingo Hilton and they had a bunch of different kinds of ducks. She quacked at the ducks and the flamingos there. :P
