Actually, she does. But she also only works half days, so she has some free time.

I don't think she was trying to be mean, so much as she was looking forward to eating cupcakes and was disappointed I didn't bring them. It must be one of the only perks that her $6 an hour job has to offer - free cupcakes on birthdays.
