I don't remember people doing the cupcake thing when I was a kid. It seems to be part of the "new" expectations for parenting. Being older than most of his classmates mothers, I guess I'm too old school and am slow to catch on.

C'est la vie. I admitted defeat and brought the stupid cupcakes this morning. I hope his teacher enjoys them.
