I really am a moderate, a pragmatist, and a civil libertarian (small "l"). I vote D a lot because the R's have told me I'm not welcomed.
Personally, I think it's foolish to vote for a party rather than the person running on that party's ticket. In Texas, if you don't agree 100% with the conservatives, they make you go sit at the little card table with all the liberals in the other room. I don't mind, because the liberals tend to be more fun. I like sitting with y'all. :^)
